Various Artists - Classic Cafe Del Mar [2002]

It seems like a long time since I posted an album. Just a single damn album that isn't connected to the 'Bob dylan Theme Time Radio Hour' or this never-ending 'Hendrix - Straight Ahead Special'!!
So I decided to go with one of my favourites. Well, OK I won't go that far. It is a good album though and stands up to scrutiny. My unfogiving scrutiny that is, maybe yours is a different kind.
The blend of some of the most recognisable Classics intertwined with the inimitable sound that can only come from the producer(s) of the Cafe Del Mar series, make for some good lowdown relaxing, mood enhancing tunes. This album is finely crafted. It doesn't go too far and really doesn't feel contrived which is my usual gripe when people start messing about with classical music and trying to put a new spin on it with either techno, trance or some other invention they just thought up. This one seems to have been well thought out. It hits the spot and doesn't leave you feeling like you've been conned (especially when you download it for free).
Higly recommended.

On this occassion I will give you the tracklist, only so that you can see the versions of the classics that are contained herein.

1. Meditation - Jules Massenet (5:12)
2. Air - Johann Sebastian Bach (5:27)
3. Fairest Isle - Henry Purcell (4:39)
4. Swan Lake - Peter I. Tchaikovsky (3:42)
5. Gymnopedie No.1 You - Erik Satie (4:34)
6. Belle Nuit Play guitar - Jacques Offenbach (4:03)
7. Adagio - Tomaso Albinoni (5:32)
8. Morning Mood - Edvard Grieg (4:25)
9. Choral Danself - Alexander Borodin (5:14)
10. Moonlight Sonata - Ludwig Van Beethoven (5:25)
11. C'est L'aconde Version - Christoph W. Gluck (3:47)

Yep, Popular Classics. It's good stuff though, try it.

Sorry but the password is ALWAYS THE SAME! End of story!!
I use a premade winrar template, the same one I have used since I started this site and have used for EVERY ALBUM I EVER POSTED!!
So, the password error is an error at your end my friend.
Winrar often gives the 'wrong password?' error when it is having another, unrelated problem.
There are some things to try but I can assure you the password IS correect.
Here, I have a list I send to email when people write and have password errors....try the following:

The password is DEFINITELY CORRECT and so if it is not working there are only two possible reasons:
1. You are using a MAC and probably trying to extract with Stuffit or similar crap program.
Solution: Use UnRarX and it will extract ok. Make sure the uppercase and lowercase in the password is correct: MP3@3pm
2. One of the rar files in the set has become corrupted. This can happen during transfer and is actually quite a common occurence.
Solution: Re-download the corrupted file.
IF THE RAR FILE IS PART OF A NUMBERED SET OF FILES..MAKE SURE YOU HAVE DOWNLOADED AL OF THE SET AND THAT THEY ARE ALL IN THE SAME LOCATION ON YOUR PC.

To work out which file in a multi-part set of rar files is the corrupt one do this:
Try to extract as per normal. When winrar throws up an error and the error window appears, read it and check which numbered file it states has the 'wrong password' (or whatever the error is called).
The named file is the corrupt file.
Download it again, replace the corrupt one with the re-downloaded one, then try again.
If it STILL will not extract, right click the .rar file(the one without a Part#* number). Select Extract files.. in the context menu.
In the Winrar dialogue box, choose where to extract to as per usual but on the LOWER LEFT of this box, you need to check the option for KEEP BROKEN FILES.
This is at least a way of getting winrar to allow you to extract the files from a corrupt archive. There is no guarantee that the files extracted this way are not corrupt and will even work! however, sometimes winrar has a CRC error and the files are still completely fine and work so it is always good as a last resort to use the broken files option.

If you STILL cannot get the files to work, redownload the whole set.
And again.
Again.
Still not working?
Give up.

Update to the Advice:
Use the same version of winrar that I packed the files with. The latest version. It is available here:
