your blog used to be great and had tons of
variety across all genres. now it's mostly
dylan, hendrix, bowie and gervais type stuff.
PLEASE get off the trip. not saying those
dudes are bad but the lack of variety is
flat out killing some of us over here.
mmmmmkaaayyy???, thanks. oh and, hit it,
like britney i would.

I have been saying similar shit myself for a few weeks now...if you were a regular visitor you might have noted that I am getting more and more seriously ill as the weeks/days go by.
In that way, this site is kind of on a break.
The only reason it is still ticking along is because I don't want to stop and let down the peope who come here for the hendrix sets and of course the bob Dylan shows.
So saying it 'used to be good' but now only has this and that' is kind of pointless if you had followed the state of affairs here.
So I only upoad what I feel I need to.
It takes all of my energy sometimes to even manage these which is why they haven't been too quick for a while now; dylan show late, Hendrix sets dead links, etc.
It is better, I think, than just putting the whole site on hold.
With encouragement like the kind you give then obviously I am inspired to go on!

All I can say is that I still have the same ideas and same genres of music for posting here and it is all waiting too, just the health issue isn't ignorable any longer.
It is kind of overwhelming me.
So, if you are willing to drop by now and then and not give up on this being a place to find some good stuff(!), as soon as I get a bit of a break in pain etc I will be eagerly updating the site.
I am actually angry and frustrated that it isn't going as I planned it but...what can I do about it. Nothing.

Stay on your fix. Saw Dylan when he made his triumpht return to England 79', Blackburn Air Field was shut down 250K+

When someone says Dylan, Hendrix & Bowie have no Variety, they're just to lazy to understand real talent vs laying tracks for show.

Can we say Neil Young, Red Hot Chilie Peppers were never the same once they hung with the man...
He is still going, they are where now?

never said _those artists_ had no variety, as you bloody
well could have read ;-] but that the blog lost a chunk of
its cross genre variety, which you also could have bloody
well read ;-] now it appears that the authors are indisposed
and therefore the needs of the many must, so indeed and proper,
yield to the needs of the few or the one. c'est la vie.
hopefully the hit it crew will take a break, give a good
stomping to whatever bug they've got and return to reign
triumphant ever more.

now after dispensing all that positive energy, i must declare
to have no substantial affinity for any of the five said artists.
though the marley trip was a ok for a few days.

now that they've been introduced to dylan, those diehard dylan
show fans could just get xm or rip the webfeed, instead of
burning all the hit crew's cycles. it does have a 'listen
online now' button right up there at the top.

hit it, one more time!

ps: here is's final genre list from just before
they shuttered in november 2003. hit that.

Hehe. Erm, thanks...I think(?) but just reaalise tat it is solely illness that has caused all to go wrong for a while now and it isn't getting better.
I try to post something whenn I can.
I see dylan radio is also going to the BBC very soon so I may stop doing it then as everyone anwhere can listen online with the BBC site.
Um, thanks for the genre list!
Sorry but Hendrix is a genius and so is Bowie. End of!
Dylan? Well he is a poet and a good one.

I am a nurse and know how horrible Crohn's can be. Thank you so much for posting the Dylan shows, as sites that have posted them in the past have recently gone missing. Happy holidays, thanks, and cheers.

Thanks for the words. Yep. It's got bad lately. I am struggling to do the site and it pisses me off to see it going downhill as the visitor numbers were great for a while.
As you know though, Crohns has ups and downs so I am hoping it will ease off ASAP!!!
Have a good New Year Celebration won't you.
